Manzil Dades, return in two stages

The first and third nights are at the Kasbah Safari Rose in the Dades Valley and in Khmis Dades, or a similar kasbah, with a pool and towels provided. Dinner and breakfast come with every night, with a vegetarian option, and each guest gets their own camel. Entrance fees, local guides and lunch are paid on the spot. The driver speaks English or French. Two practical limits: there is no pickup from Airbnbs or private flats, whose guests go to a meeting point, and only a backpack goes on the camel while the rest of your luggage stays on the bus. Is a four-day desert tour better than three days?

It is easier on the body. Manzil Dades splits the drive home into two days; Ando Travel gives you a second evening at the dunes but still drives back in one day. If the long day 3 is what puts you off a three-day tour, pick the version that splits the return.

Do four-day tours spend two nights in the desert?
